WOW Kit (for Secondary classes)

For the first time ever, NEW-LIFESTYLES now offers a school kit geared for middle- and high-school students. Available EXCLUSIVELY through NEW-LIFESTYLES, this kit includes everything you need to lead a pedometer program with secondary students.

The kit includes our new teacher's activity guidebook, Teaching with Pedometers. This 90-page book provides tips and suggestions for facilitating your pedometer program and overviews options for promotions and fundraising. More than half of the book is dedicated to activity ideas (categorized by age level) and worksheet master copies.

Of special interest to P.E. teachers and health educators will be the NL-2000 Activity Monitor. We've included one of these devices in each Secondary kit as a tool for the instructor to use when teaching students about energy balance and weight control.

Besides the NL-2000 Activity Monitor, the difference between the Secondary and Elementary kits is that the Secondary kit does not include the CD, DIGI-Os™ reward tokens and rubber stamps. (Photo above includes items from both kits.)
