We recommend the SW-651 pedometer for people who like to know how long they've exercised. In addition to measuring steps and calculating distance in miles, this pedometer includes a stopwatch and clock so you can tell how long you've exercised.
If you are interested in knowing your pace, having a stopwatch on your pedometer helps you figure your speed. For example, if you find that you walk one mile in 20 minutes, then you are walking at a rate of three mph. This can help you to determine the intensity of your workout, so you can adjust your speed accordingly.
Another feature of the SW-651 is that it accepts stride lengths in increments of .05 feet. (The SW-401 and SW-701 models accept stride lengths in .25 foot increments.) The SW-651 is about 2" x 1 1/2" x 3/4" and weighs less than 3/4 ounce.
